This lecture is organized by the research project “"Mathematical Prehistory of Homo sapiens -Modeling the Cultural Evolution during the Range Expansion of Paleolithic Modern Humans", which has been collaborated by the University Museum, The University of Tokyo and other institutes. A lecturer engaged in fieldwork in northern Africa—the cradle of Homo sapiens —will present recent archaeological excavations and explore the evolution and behavior of early Homo sapiens .
