Next month, the JP Tower Museum INTERMEDIATHEQUE (IMT) is opening “Voices of the Holy Spirits – Madagascar, Island of Curiosities,” the seventh installation of its Quai Branly Tokyo project jointly organized with the musée du quai Branly - Jacques Chirac in Paris.
Since the opening of the Intermediatheque, the present project is an unprecedented attempt at bridging together two institutions, a French national museum with the University Museum, the University of Tokyo, through the loan of their collections, the musée du quai Branly - Jacques Chirac selecting items from its prestigious collections.
In “Voices of the Holy Spirits – Madagascar, Island of Curiosities,” we will exhibit the ritual tools from Madagascar.
