Ring-Shaped Bronze Objects

(b) / 8th to 6th centuries B.C. / Iran / Department of Archaeology of Western Asia, UMUT

概要

These bronze objects belong to the late Iron Age culture of North Iran. They have an open ring shape with tapering ends, around which fine incised decorations are visible. A suggestion has been made that these unique objects were used as ingots for metal trade.
