Horn of Greater Kudu (Tragelaphus strepsiceros)

概要

The kudu is a large antelope that inhabits areas of eastern and southern Africa. It stands at about 150 cm in height and weighs as much as 300 kg. Its horns twist around more than twice as they develop and can reach sizes as great as 180 cm. For the most part, the kudu lives in open forest and rarely inhabits grasslands. Only males have evolved horns for sexual selection.
