概要
Stibnite is a sulfide mineral of antimony of which it is a resource mineral. From the ancient times, antimony was used for cosmetics, and was an important resource materials in modern industry. However, since its toxicity came to be known, it was seldom used. Stibnite is named after the Greek “stimmi” or “stib”. The Ichinokawa mine is a famous locality of stibnite.
